We are a learning resource for the Whangarei and Tai Tokerau community. We offer:
Outreach: The Outreach team provides highly skilled specialist teaching support to students and teachers in mainstream classes across schools in Te Tai Tokerau
Correspondence School/Te Kura: We provide a Specialist teacher to support Special Needs Students working on Correspondence at home.
Professional Learning and Development: We offer our expertise to professionals and parents within the community through hosting visitors discuss programmes and view teaching and learning by arrangement.
Health: We host a regular Wheelchair and Orthotic Clinic at the Base School to make it easier for students and parents to get these issues and repairs solved efficiently. We are regularly supported by the School's dental service. Every term we host two Paediatrician Clinic at school in collaboration with the Child Health Centre.
